Fujian
abounds with local specialities. Lacquer ware in Fuzhou, stone sculpture
in Shoushan, Dahongpao tea in Wuyishan Mountain and Tieguanyin tea, a kind
of oolong tea in Anxi, the shadow sculpture in Hui¡¯an, chinaware in
Dehua, narcissus and Pianzaihuang, a type of traditional Chinese medicine
in Zhanzhou, edible mushrooms in Gutian, lychee and longan in Putian are
famous both at home and abroad. Fujian cuisine is one of the eight major
distinctive schools of culinary art in the country. This includes two of
the most famous dishes like Bhudda-Jumping-Over-The-Wall and sand clam
with chicken soup.
